Training Academy
The Heard County Fire & Emergency Services provides entry-level, continuing education, and refresher courses for its many Firemen, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Paramedics.
EMTs and Paramedics are trained and challenged regularly to respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, circulatory and many other medical emergencies.
Rookie and Veteran Firefighters, alike, are pushed to their limits in rigorous classroom and practical field tests that include:
