All employees of Heard County Fire and Emergency Services are State Certified Firefighters, Medical First Responders, EMTs or Paramedics and have specialized training in Hazardous Materials Response.
Heard County Fire and Emergency Services responds to approximately 2200 calls per year which includes: fire, chemical spills, gas ruptures, medical calls, auto accidents, machinery accidents, fire alarms, and other emergency situations.

FF/EMT: Starting Salary $38,778.00
•
FF/EMT-I or AEMT: Starting Salary $42,917.00

FF/Paramedic: Starting Salary $45,982.00
